My Personal Story

I was an active but not particularly sporty kid growing up in Adelaide, South Australia. I played a bit of tennis and participated in track events in school. However, it actually wasn’t until after university, when I was in my 20s that I really feel in love with fitness. At that time, I was working as a sports physiotherapist in a gym in Sydney and started working out with some of the trainers there. While I was there I also got into running, and absolutely fell in love with the sport! These days, I’m still training for and running a few long distance events every year.

Through my career, I’ve always loved working with people and helping them get past the setbacks of injury to achieve their goals. I’ve been fortunate enough to work in several different cities, in various clinics and with a vast variety of clients.

Although I grew up in Adelaide, South Australia, I’ve moved and travelled a lot. I’m currently in New York, and I must say there’s no place quite like New York. It really feels like home to me.

In October 2021, my husband and I welcomed our first baby, Isaac. He’s absolutely adorable (my non-biased opinion) and I’ve loved watching him grow and change day-by-day.

When I’m not working, I’m generally enjoying spending time with my husband, David, our baby, Isaac, and our two dogs, Oscar & Philly. I love being outdoors, running, exercising or checking out the plethora of restaurants and cocktail bars around NYC.
